Who we are

One Love Learning Foundation is a non-profit organization helping to implement self-sustaining schoolyard gardens, and educating children on healthy nutrition in schools in Jamaica and South Africa.

We want to share with you a truly authentic Jamaican experience. You will have one of the most fun and enjoyable vacations of your life and at the same time you will be giving the community invaluable lessons in nutrition, self-sustaining organic farming and water harvesting. Your trip will be coordinated and guided by a professional event planner and executed in a fashion that provides luxurious comfort but a purposeful and healthy vacation of a lifetime.

Sample Itinerary and cost for an all-inclusive trip for 6-10 people

Day One
Afternoon:
• Airport Transfers from Montego Bay Airport to your villa
• A lite lunch and refreshments will be available upon your arrival at the villa
• Get acquainted with your surroundings, unpack, relax
Evening:
• Cocktail reception/Briefing with non-profit staff and school teachers
• Dinner

Day Two
Morning:
• Early morning Yoga, including meditation (optional)
• Breakfast
• OLLF Farm Tour and organic farming class
• Leisure Time
Afternoon:
• Lunch
• Visit a OLLF schoolyard garden. Followed by a trip to Round Hill Resort and Villa’s organic garden
Evening:
• Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
• Dinner

Day Three
Morning:
• Breakfast
• Off to Work! The school and volunteer project will be selected based upon their needs at the time of your trip. The project will likely be building a schoolyard garden, or building a rainwater harvesting system
Afternoon:
• Lunch
• Leisure time with massages
Evening:
• Transfer to offsite restaurant for a fabulous Jamaican Seafood Dinner

Day Four
Morning:
• Breakfast
• Off to Work at the selected school
Afternoon:
• Lunch
• Leisure time with massages
Evening:
• Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
• Dinner

Day Five
Morning:
• Early morning Yoga, including meditation (optional)
• Breakfast
• Depart for activity. The activity will be determined by the group as whole while onsite. The activity may include one of the following: a day at Negril’s 7 mile white sand beach and cliffs, Floating down the Martha Brae River, on a bamboo raft, hiking Mayfield Falls or a cruise down Black River with crocodiles. We will have lunch at a local restaurant
Evening:
• Dinner

Day Six
Morning:
• Breakfast
• Off to Work at the selected school
Afternoon:
• Lunch
• Leisure time with massages
Evening:
• Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
• Dinner

Day Seven
• Breakfast
• Off to work at selected school
• Lunch
• Visit a Rastafarian Home and learn about their culture. This visit will include an introduction to Rastafarian music, faith and Ital cooking. There will be time for questions/answers. *This is not a tourist attraction but a home of our Rastafarian neighbor who is opening her home to us for a learning experience.
• Leisure Time
• Authentic Jamaican Jerk Barbeque to include “friends we have met along the way” will join you for a memorable farewell party. Put on your dancing shoes and get irie! One Love Tribe performs! OLLF drum teachers will provide an amazing show with African dancers

Day Eight
• Brunch
• Scheduled departures

*All-inclusive Voluntourism Vacation experience is $3628.00 per per person (6 person minimum and 10 person maximum).
*Each additional adult after the sixth person is $980.00 per adult and $770.00 per child (ages 5-12). Children under 5 years old are no charge.

Included:
• Accommodations (using 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms)
• All transportation
• Three meals per day (using as much organic produce as possible from our garden)
• Beverages (including: tonics made from herbs and aloe, coconut water, juice, sodas, tea, coffee, beer, wine and rum punch)
• Meals at restaurants included on itinerary
• At least one massage per person (60 min)
• Yoga sessions as listed on itinerary
• Villa staff: cook, butler, housekeeper, laundress, gardener and night watchman
• All gratuities
